Omaha, Bohemian Cafe

The Bohemian Cafe is one of the landmarks of Little Bohemia or Bohemian Town, a historic neighborhood in Omaha. Beginning in the 1880s, Czech immigrants settled in this highly concentrated area just west of Little Italy, between 10th and 16th streets, north of Martha street. Often they were only temporarily in Omaha while they worked to make enough money to buy land for a farm farther west in Nebraska.
